how do you chose the discussions you respond to??????????

i myself respond to quite a lot of discussions and i chose them quite sensibly. i first look at the subject matter and then look how the response reflects my personality and then i choose to respond to such discussions??? plz share your thoughts with me.......

i look for topics which interest me. there is alot of stupid stuff out there. If i want to read a joke, i can do that on the internet anywhere.

I try to respond to discusiions that are interesting or have some relevance to my life and interests. There are so many uninteresting discussions posted that it takes a bit if searching to find the good ones
