Bird Omen In the News

Driving down the road this morning I heard a crow cawing. It "caught my ear", so to speak. Usually when I catch something like that, with a glance or hear it, it's like I have supersonic hearing for a moment, like it means something. But cawing never sounds pleasant anyway, lol. Then on cnn, there's a story about a bunch of dead owls, and trying to find the cause of death. Then I see the story about the dead birds in Austin and the funny smell in New York. I just find these stories and events to be odd all in one day, possibly significant, a bad omen that something big is about to happen?
