Erasmus - The importance of studying outside - Your opinion

I'm in university and I think that maybe I'll do Erasmus. (For those who don't know what is Erasmus, I can say that is program from EU, that allow you to study 1 year in another European Country.) Of course, tha bad points and the good points are so many, that I thought maybe here I could get some good opinions. The biggest problem is the money, more even that the language (Now-a-days everybody should talk English). Erasmus program don't pay you everytrhing, so you have always to spend some money. But the time, the money, and the work will be compensanted by the exprience I could get?
