What do you prefer: the mountains or the sea???

i prefer sea because i have altitude phobia. i feel sick and acnnot breathe properly at high altitude.

I am very fortunate to have both around me in southern Spain, my balcony view is a wide view of the mountains with a postcard view of the sea.

I prefer the mountain.

both would be enjoyable - but since it is winter I think right now I would like to go to the beach for some sand and sun!!

I'll prefer ocean of course! I live nearby the ocean and I love to see the beautiful scenery at the beach. The sea water is celar as crystal,the corals are beautiful, and I can go fishing whenever I wanted, and drinks coconut besides the beach. It just so amazing!

I prefer Mountains as I can go high. If we go to oceans there are only chances of going down but not up. So y not chose up to a mountain rather than going down.

When I go on vacation I prefer the mountains. I love the fresh air and solitude. My favorite vacation, wich I take several times a year is going to the mountains. I usually rent a cabin in a very small town. It is usually fairly inexpensive yet very well equiped with full kitchen, etc. I just love roaming around the area looking for wildlife. Sitting on the front porch and watching moose, deer, foxes etc. roaming around at dusk and early morning hours. Don't get me wrong I also love being by the sea. But I am only 30 miles from the ocean so I don't really have to go on vacation to enjoy it. Alos the beaches and seashore get so crowded here as I live in Massachusetts, USA and it is quite a tourist attraction.

I have vacationed in both of these places. I think it depends on my mood at the time of my vacation. I love the moutains. I love to hike and camp. I loved visiting The Grand Canyon. I also love to walk on the beach and pick up sea shells. So I cant choose between the two as which is my favorite.
