Mini Pills (form of birth control)

Hello, I was wondering if any females here have or are on the mini pills? The reason I'm asking is because this is my first time going on the pill. So I'm a little skeptical about it. I'm only 3'5" tall, and the doctor is putting me on this because he felt putting me on one of the regular pills would be too much for my size.
Have you girls gotten great results taking the mini pills? Did you happen to gain any weight taken these pills? Any symptoms you have while on these pills?
Anything you have about these 'mini pills' please let me know. Thanks and I appreciate it.

I don't know what mini pills are...if you don't want to get pregnant, its always safer to ask your doctor for what birth control is suitable for you or ask anybody in the family planning department, iam so sure they know about that. I used IUD before for a year then i had it took off...Iam not using anything now but the family planning department suggested the injection for me...it doesn't work for all though.

To be honest I have never even heard of the "mini pill" I will tell you this though... I was on the patch and it made my hair fall out! It was AWFUL! My hair would fall out in CHUNKS every morning in the shower! Then when I got off the patch it didn't fall out anymore!

The minipills were not right for me. If u are taking them to prevent preganncy you should know that they are not very safe. I got pregnant using them and that was what I was trying to prevent, I did not gain weight though wich was good.
I would suggest the Depo-shot instead, u only have to take it once every three months and it is the same hormon as the minipills.
My friend also went on the minipills and she bled for three months straight, althogh that is not very common =)
