Juvenile Diabetes is absolutely devastating. I didn't realize how much so till I had a co-worker who has a 7 yr old daughter with it. Emily is doing fine but still has to watch her sugar all day long. She is on the new pump now and that makes it easier to manage but what these children need is a CURE and that means DOLLARS. The only contribution, other than financial donations for me was to use my love of crochet to create something that could be raffled each year. So far, the last two years we have raised over $1,000 in raffle tickets with this blanket.

It is nice to see that someone is raising money for diabetes. I have a 2 and a half year old daughter that has had diabetes since she was 13 months old. It is a struggle and somedays are really hard, We get through it day by day though and we are so happy that she is in our lives. Diabetes is a hard thing to deal with, but the love that we get from this little girl cannot compare to anything else in the world.
I think that it is great that you have helped out, it means alot to me and my family
thanks
