Why all the Christmas threads?

It's October 1... everyone's preparing for Christmas already. what gives?

I agree it is a little early, but you know how time flys, so I guess people want to do it early instead of waiting till last minite.

I am starting to think about Christmas. With two kids and a limited income the earlier I start the better of I am.

i start early that way i get all my shoping done before the stores get crazzy

Well for me, it's always best to start early. Plus unlike the past couple of years, I am looking forward to Christmas. There have been some changes in my life that have made me a much happier person. Also, the days go by fast. Christmas will be here before you know it.
