Xanga started the blog phase. Xanga has sense then died down to middle schoolers who cant seem to understand how to change their profile background in myspace. Are the Xanga users gone and now being called myspace junkies? Does anybody use Xanga anymore? Should it just be bought out by myspace and made it into a lot better blogging site? Is there anything that xanga has that myspace doesnt?

I actually use both Xanga and myspace. Myspace is more for the pretty pages and showing my personality to everyone, and Xanga is more for me and my close friends to keep in touch with.

xanga is strictly blogging. myspace just added that feature recently and isn't very popular. that is what makes xanga stick around. people come and go but they still return to xanga to blog because on myspace people don't pay attention to the blogs much unless it was a bulletin. that is just what myspace is lacking.

I honestly hope that it's not "over and done with" either. I mean yes, many people seemed to have moved on to MySpace but Xanga is all about bogging and you can run into some really good pieces written on there. It's really made for people who loves writting. Its many features are also nice to use. It allows people to share thoughts and perceptions with others and spreads ideas around.
