I have quite a few that I like because they tell a story that means something to life. "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe is my favourite:-)

Favorite book so far has been All of Sidney Sheldon's novels but which one I can;t tell you because all of them are my favorites. Well I could pick out best laid plans or the suspense and thrill that it offers you at every point.

When I was younger, I would read Sidney Sheldon starting with "The Other Side of Midnight" I was truly saddened that he passed away just this past month at the age of 89. He was a gifted writer and was also into screenwriting particularly the film, "The Bachelor and the Bobbysocker(1947)" with Cary Grant and Shirley Temple, and the television show, "I Dream of Jeannie". Yep, he will definitely be missed.

My favorite book is "Not a penny more, not a penny less" by Jeffery Archer. How beautifully he as written this book taken into account of the value of money even each a single penny.

Well, I love books but my personal favorite is the magazine Reader's Digest. And as for books I remember a book written by Sidney Sheldon with the title Stars Shine Down. And mostly some e-books.

Thanks for responding, I think there are some really great writers out there who write books that stay in our mind for many years. It is usually the ones that teaches you something that does really. Things Fall Apart also taught the value of looking at situations in context, sometimes we can't always judge someone else's world within our own.

I haven't read "Things Fall Apart" but I do have a copy of the book here at the house, and have it as a goal on 43things. I am interested in reading the book; My favorite book? well, I have some particular ones but I do love J.California Cooper's works. So, more than likely, I would have to say that "Some Love, Some Pain, Sometime" is my favorite.
