well i think it depends on the ACTUAL pda and what type of "public" your talking about.. i mean, pecks on the cheek, holding hands, hugs and such to me are acceptable almost everywhere.. but i think people need to be careful of taking it too far.. ESPECIALLY where there could be younger more impressionable kids around.. i dont care for a couple "teens" makin out at the park with young kids present.. its just inconsiderate.. ( though i know they're sometimes completely inconsiderate and "unaware" of their surroundings) but 2 adults doing that is even worse as i feel they should know better.. however.. if its later at night and theres no one there??? no harm done right? as long as your not risking "public exposure"!

I guess it would all depend on the "amount" of affection displayed and how far it is too be taken. I think there are places for extreme affection that not everyone wants to witness but have no problem if it is kept light. Kind of an old fogie here! lol

I dont mind holing hands or a quick hug, etc but snogging in the street shows a lack of respect for your partner, old fashioned but it does make you go ugh!

A public display of affection is not a problem to me as long as it is not going too far. And yes I am old fashioned and this may not seem fair to some but oh well, I am against Homsexual public displays of affection.

Yes, it does, I guess I am just old school, but I think somethings should be done in private, behind closed doors. I have nothing against holding hands or giving someone a peck on the cheek in public, but when it becomes more intense, and intimate, that's when I think it should be done somewhere private. Extreme displays of affection seem to lose that 'special quality'...it is no longer intimate or meaningful...it becomes something akin to a public exhibition, just a performance or show to draw attention to oneself...SS

I think holding hands, hugging, and maybe a peck on the check is okay but I really hate when people are all over each in wal mart lol. It's kinda gross. I think they just want people to see or something.
