ORKUT DELETING PROFILES????...or just a hoax???

Hey guys have you ever noticed that after every week or so you get atleast one message(usually forwarded) saying that Due to sudden rush of people signing on to orkut, the website is deleting some profiles, and yours may be one of them, so do this this and that that and your profile will be safe and not be deleted?....
havr you ever wondered that this may just be one of the pranks that someone had played and that its still being circulated and the one who started it is laughing his head off?......
Just tell me whether you feel that this is true or just hoax....maybe you might even know someone with a deleted profile.........

hey man..i think its just a hoax as ive been receiving such emails n messages for more than an year now.i've gt the same about yahoo deleting e mail accounts as well.i think its just a hoax so nothing to worry about

these all are strategies to keep active customer to their site...i worked with rediff ..i know better of it..

I personally feel it is just a hoax and i have experienced many such mails and i dont think we ll have to wrorry about it!

I have even got a mail from orkut saying its only a hoax. I hope it is not hoax :)

orkut deleting profiles its tru.,...
one day my frend had 10000 scraps with 1682 frenz and 445 fans alongwith 179 testinmoniaLs and 24 album in all diff pose
wat happen was dat air got into his head and he started the search for orkuts grtnad mother and mr.rkt had no option but to release the wicked spell bound spirit of his mother in law to this poor unluky frend of mine and boom..next moment he was sitting witrh his profile just lik dat of mother in law of mr.rkt....that is invisible...
so i guess trhis myt be tru...
god pls save me from that...

In a week i get arounf=d 4-5 messages from my friend all telling that orkut is deleting in active user profile. But I verified with the Orkut team and got to know that it is a hoax and they are not at all deleting. As Orkut respect the user's privacy.

Yes, I have encountered with such mails also, but i don't think orkut is deleting profiles. I think due to sudden rush of spammers on orkut, The orkut administration has slowly moved this mail amongst the Orkut users, so that anyone having the fake profile or spammers theirselves deletes their profile.
I don't know anyone whose profile has been deleted by orkut.

its certainly a hoax! there is no such thing...i fail to understand why ppl spread such messages....orkut itself answered this question in their help section......so u dont need to worry abt such messages in future :)

I dont think they r deleting [profiles.....atleast none of my knowledge !
