I love Germany! I love the language, I love the scenery, I LOVE the architecture and the history behind it. Big church spires and clock towers. I love the Bavarian region and I love the food! Well, I'm not a fan of sausage, but I am a fan of brezen und kartofeln (not together!) und heisse apfelsaft. YUM!

I haven't been there yet but have wanted to visit for a long time, and have studied the language some so I'll be more prepared when I do visit.
What I like about it that I'm interested in seeing: the food, the gorgeous scenery, and the "Old World" feel of it--old villages, half-timbered houses, etc.

I lived there for 3 years, and the thing I miss most is donner kabobs! Our wonderful little neighborhood stand had the best donner teller I've ever had, better than I could even find in Turkey. Huge portions at low prices, and soooo delicious, mmmmmmmm...

The MEN! Haha! :) Seriously, the best city I've ever visited in Germany is Weimer. It is a quiet and romantic city. There are cobbled-stone streets, little shops, roadside cafes and historic places. I went on a long walk just by myself and was really touched seeing old couples walking together. It was also nice seeing dogs being walked by their owners....I think those things are priceless. Once, I was walking with a new friend (a co-delegate in a conference I attended there), and an old couple went to us and offered to take our picture. I didn't expect that kind of gesture because prior to my trip to Germany, I was told that most Germans would be cold or distant. So it was really a nice surprise. I'd definitely want to go back there again...and hopefully, during a much warmer month. :) Germany is a special place and it left wonderful memories in my mind.

I enjoyed driving - they have all those roundabouts instead of a million stop signs and you can get around fast on the autobahn! Besides that the food is awesome and the people friendly.
