My hair is real. If the wig or weave is quality and looks nice then go for it. I have seen some really nice weaves on some of my African American friends. My mom used to wear a wig but we talked her out of it and she looked much better without it.

I have way too much hair to put fake hair on my head. Controlling what I have is hard enough. On other people... as long as I can't tell it's fake... it's all good by me.

i dont like wigs and weaves, if a person dont hve hairs he should not try to hide it infact he should accept the truth very gracefully and if a person hve hairs and still wears a wig then thts the case of stupidity...
and for me i hve real hairs!!!!!

i dont think it's stupid
i have long hair and i sometimes wear
a wig for the hair style, because i dont want to cut my hair
or i dont want to dye my hair.
some wigs are really really cute. i cant help it.

iam perfectly ok with wiggs for cancer patients who are getting kemo for there therapy, or anoy other person who is sick and looses there hair due to the medicatiion they are taking. I do have a problem with people who have hair already who go to the salon and have weaves put in and then have it styled in some crazy ways. I think it is a waste of money, that ccan be used for more important things like rent, food, cars, bills.

My hair is real. It's baby-fine and almost to my shoulders. I would love to have long, thick hair. If I could afford it, I would get extentions put in. But it's very expensive to get done and to keep going back to have it redone.

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But my friend took me by surprise when I saw her hair bobbed (it WAS just past her shoulders) and bright pink! It looked so much like real hair that I was surprised to find out that it was a wig. See, she's a hairdresser, and she's pretty funky herself. So the bright pink bob was actually very believeable on her! But I can see how wigs would be a nice way to just have a little change without any committments!! Hmm...does this work with men?

I enjoy the versatility wigs and weaves provide. Sometimes one just wants a change or to try new hair styles or hair color without the penalty of having to live with the choice during the time it takes for new growth or repair.
I think wigs and weaves provide a harmless way to be creative with one's crowning glory.
Currently, I am wearing an afro due to the summer heat; but I am bored with this look, and I am pondering "what next."
