my aunt got pregnant with her first baby, after a month or so, she suffered from a serious measles or chicken pox, she was confined to the hospital and treated until she got well... most of my relatives suggested that she should have an abortion, the disease and the treatment might have adverse effect on the baby... what would you do? would you continue the pregnancy and risk whether the baby will be healthy or not? or would you have an abortion and start over?

this is a very touchy subject and i may get negative rates for this, but yes i would probably have an abortion. Because honestly i know that i could never give the care and attention that a special needs child would need right now in my life. i am not finanically able to do it or emitionally stable to raise a child like that. so for me yes i would have one.

forget a negative rating your in the dictionary for the definition of MONSTER.
I can not believe people think this way. What if you were pregnant and had the baby only to discover that the baby you carried for nine months and grew to love had a disability. Would you kill that baby.
you'd have to be heartless and uncaring

Then again it may have no effect on the baby at all. I think your aunt should carry on and have the baby. Now, if she had an ultrasound and it showed some birth defects that were caused for the chicken pox then she would have something to think about. Hope all goes well with her.

I believe not. stating that she suferred from measles, the virus has already infiltrated her unborn child. It would creat complications to the baby, such as her organs might not form. Now, with this, the child would either die afer a few hours due to complications or grow old abnormally.

To be on comfort zone, have your auntie's gynea do a full investigation and find out if the baby is normal. This should also be to rest all uncertainties.

I think abortion is not an easy task .
I would Suggest that take your time and consult the doctors and then take some decision...

If I were on her shoes, I would not have abortion. I believe in God and follow the Holy Bible. God does not approve of abortion. God will take care of whatever happens.
I started a topic on The Bible on Birth Control and if you care to know, pls go to my Profile and open such subject matter. I have started other topics on the Holy Bible.
May God bless you. SEN
