Since I moved my family to Mexico, horses have become an important part of the lives of my daughter and my wife. I also understand that building a relationship with a horse is effective therapy for some children. Tell me of your experiences with children and horses. My daughter Megan currently has five horses, she rides in Escaramusa, the Mexican national sport for young ladies; sort of like a high speed mounted drill team with 8 members in traditional Mexican dresses and sombreros. In Mexico in springtime, Carnival is celebrated right before Lent, and my daughter Megan rode in the last Carnival parade, in traditional costume and makeup; as shown in the photo with this posting.
