I ran into this test that will tell you if you are studying the right religion for you. It will break down by the percentage of the questions answered to determine the percent of which religion you follow.
Care to take the test????
Keep in mind. I am not looking for debate or people that are not interested in really responding or taking the test. If you respond with something else other than the results of the test and how you feel about it, you will be ranked negatively.

first of all your list of percentages is wrong because it doesn't add up to 100% and second religion is a lost cause that people will only belive in so they have someone to talk to when they know theyve done something wrong. when realy they are only talking to them self and they should be put into a crazy house. theirfor half the worlds population that prays is crazy.

The answers aren't supposed to add up to 100%; each number stands on its own and tells how closely Ciniful's answers match with the expected answers for a 'pure' atheist, agnostic, buddhist, etc. Think of each number as a way of saying how much you have in common with a particular belief set.

Great test, I scored Buddhism..
I never would have considered it. I consider myself a Christian, that was raised Catholic. I don't agree with the Catholic Religion however.
I'll be passing the test on, thanks again.

I took the test and it came out with a resul of 88% for Buddhism. This is correct. I am a Catholic, but I believe in the philosophy preached by the lord Buddah. I believe in reincarnation and tolerance. Buddhism is not a religion but a philosophy that can be follwed by anyone of any religion. One does not have to convert or follow rituals to be a Buddhist.

thank you very much for some really interesting quiz. most of such quizzes are so inane, i usually avoid them. anyways, this was great and believe me, it was bang on target. it has declared my strongest affinity for budhism, which is in a way true. though i am born a hindu, i hardly follow this religion as it is practised now. i'd rather go back to the pristine worship of nature, of becoming one with the forces, learning from them and accepting life as it comes to you. this quiz has proclaimed these beliefs of mine as closest to Budhism, so let it be so. as long as i'm at peace with myself, any religion with any name will do.

Well not sure what I think of the test since it kept trying to put Satanism right at the top or second to it. I did take it a couple of times to make sure. It came up with Paganism though as the high score. It's interesting because I do follow that but I was raised Roman Catholic, wasn't sure if some of those old teachings still lingered or not :)

The satanism they refer to isn't the cultural idea of a cult that worships satan. The actual Church of Satan (satanism) is a sect that rejects the idea of black mass, rejects cruelty to animals, or a literal belief or worship of Satan. The actual idea behind the 'religion' is that human beings are basically animals, and rejects many social structures that inhibit our instincts.
Just thought I'd clear that up for those that mistake the modern religion of satanism with the cult aspect.

Here is the results of my test. I do not really agree with the results of the test and wonder how they determined this result. It says that I scored as an Islam. LOL Your beliefs are most similar to those of Islam. Do more research on Islam and possibly consider taking the shahadah and officially becoming a Muslim, if you aren't already. Despite the actions of some - who go against the teachings of Islam - Islam is a religion of peace; the word "islam" means "peace through submission to God." "Muslim" means "one who submits to God." Islam is the third of the three Abrahamic faiths, and it shares much with Judaism in Christianity; its differences are the acceptance of Muhammad as the last and final prophet, and the oneness of God - in other words, that Jesus, though he was a revered prophet, was not in fact God, and only one God exists. Apparently the Taliban could not read (though their name means "students"), because the Qur'an states that men and women are equal as believers, and that all believers should be educated and seek knowledge. Modesty in dress and behavior is required in Islam for both men and women to preserve the values of society and move the emphasis from superificial appearance to intelligence, knowledge, and God.

Mine are as you see them above. Sure I agree that such tests can't decide what religion you should convert or adhere to, but these tests sure confirm if one is sufficient in practicing a particular religion, and has full knowledge through trivial things and beliefs according to his or her own religion.

ok I got this from Religious Tolerance website... http://www.religioustolerance.org/u-u2.htm .this is apparently the basic beliefs of UU
The inherent worth and dignity of every person
Justice, equity and compassion in human relations
Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations
A free and responsible search for truth and meaning
The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large
The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all
Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part
The living tradition we share draws from many sources:
Direct experience of that transcending mystery and wonder, affirmed in all cultures, which moves us to a renewal of the spirit and an openness to the forces which create and uphold life
Words and deeds of prophetic women and men which challenge us to confront powers and structures of evil with justice, compassion, and the transforming power of love
Wisdom from the world's religions which inspires us in our ethical and spiritual life
Jewish and Christian teachings which call us to respond to God's love by loving our neighbors as ourselves
Humanist teachings which counsel us to keep the guidance of reason and the results of science, and warn us against idolatries of the mind and spirit
Spiritual teachings of Earth-centered traditions which celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature.
Grateful for the religious pluralism which enriches and ennobles our faith, we are inspired to deepen our understanding and expand our vision. As free congregations we enter into this covenant, promising to one another our mutual trust and support

this is the exact result for me..You scored as Buddhism.
Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Buddhism. Do more research on Buddhism and possibly consider becoming Buddhist, if you are not already. In Buddhism, there are Four Noble Truths: (1) Life is suffering. (2) All suffering is caused by ignorance of the nature of reality and the craving, attachment, and grasping that result from such ignorance. (3) Suffering can be ended by overcoming ignorance and attachment. (4) The path to the suppression of suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path, which consists of right views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness, and right contemplation. These eight are usually divided into three categories that base the Buddhist faith: morality, wisdom, and samadhi, or concentration. In Buddhism, there is no hierarchy, nor caste system; the Buddha taught that one's spiritual worth is not based on birth.
anyways that was something interesting .thanks for sharing with us.all the best

All rather interesting ... I suppose if I absolutely had to pick a religion I would probably select Pagan or Wiccan .. or at least the 'caring for nature' side of those .. Satanism I am most definitely not into ... all those weird incatations and whoosshes of fiery brimstone scare me silly .. I'd be having nightmares ...

Well we all have a religion to follow. No matter what we always appriciate a religion in which we are brought up irrespective of what religion it is.What i beleive is keep our religion to our selves and not to point fingers at other religion.Every religion has + points And - negative points but it is every sensitive issue to be discussed.

Hm, so my results:
Satanism 83%
Agnosticism 75%
Buddhism 67%
Paganism 63%
Atheism 38%
I don't know how to feel about this.
I was raising in a Christian religion for the first 19 years of my life, then was agnostic for about a year, and now I've converted to Buddhism. I'm not sure why the quiz decided I was a satanist. Probably because I didn't know what my opinion was on a lot of the statements, but I feel very strongly about trusting myself over other people.
