My 11 year old son can't understand how people can believe in god. We recently attended a service for a relative that had passed away. Right before we went into the church he ask me if I thought all those inside "fancied themselves imortal"? What should I be saying to him?

Religion of course, will bring lot of curiosity in the children mind. The parents has to guide them properly. Tell him the souls departed the physical body, is Immortal, as it unites with the supreme soul. Your son got inclination to spirituality, as he knows what is soul, mortal and immortal.

He believes in reincarnation. I'm not sure why as it's not something that my family has ever embraced. I think you are right...spiritual but not religious. Thanks.
