WE run a multispeciality clinic. Most of our patients come with an appointment. we also have walk ins which we cannot avoid. Since we deal with speciality practice most of our examinations are time consuming, also needing multidisciplinary examinations, hence we are not able to keep to time. Any suggestions on how to achieve patient satisfaction?

I worked in an infectious disease practice for a long time. It took a very long time to see some patients and that is just the way it had to be. We offered cookies and coffee in the waiting room and had two tvs in there too. These people need to know that they would want the doctor to spend a while with them if there was something really wrong.

no idea, I wait up to 2 hours to see my doctor and I schedule an appoitment. All I can say is make sure the paitents are aware that sceduled paitents should come first and possible move the walk ins to the evening and weekends. No Matter what you do someone will not be happy with it.
