Hi that is so awesome... Yes I heard that they had a going away concert that was for free entrance... Glad to meet another member on mylot...
We attended a fireside with them last night and it was absolutely amazing... my mother was in charge of arranging accommodation and cooked them a meal last night...
It was really great... Their testimonies are amazing...

I just recently graduate a year ago, December 2006. I thought the day would never come, but I did it. I am now working full time and missing summer vacation and all the other holidays that I don't get off anymore. While I was going to school I always said that I would enjoy working better than going to school and it's true except for the long hours away from my family. I like the school schedule of going to class for an hour, coming home for a couple of hours then going back for another hour, but now it's 11 hours from the time I leave until the time I get home. On the bright side I actually have money and I don't have to live the life of a poor college student any more.

We retired in Provo 18 years ago. So, yes, I get up to the campus now and then. We go for concerts and plays and to do genealogy. The main thing that has changed since I went there is that it is so much bigger. In my sophomore year they built the Lee library. In my junior year they built the admin. bld., and the year after I graduated they built the Wilk. During the time I was there girls could not wear pants on campus (I got away with it, anyway, on saturdays). They were expected to wear heels and hose. Ouch! Yes, times have changed!

I am amazed at how much the campus changed from year to year. It is just amazing how fast the building can go up.

I used to go to BYU each summer for CES conference. They quit having it after 9-11. I have wanted to go back for Education Week but have not had the opportunity to do so. We have to drive for four days to get to Provo. No I am not going to fly...LOL I am afraid of heights.
