Tough question! Too many to choose, but i do agree Mike Hussey is playing excellent cricket, and rates highly. Sharne Warne has obviously been a stand out for sometime now. 700 test scalps...and he has been batting well throughout the Ashes tournament. Ponting batted well also, and is always attacking. Gilchrist scoring the second fastest Test hundred ever only to Viv Richards was quite memorable, though it was not his greatest season with the bat, however since that innings he has looked awesome. Just last night i watch him hit 48 in a 20/20 against England including 5 sixes which he seems to do effortlessly. Great wicket keeper as well! So they are my top few.

i think so all the australian player best so u r not eassily compare them wiht each other. but i think so ricky ponting is best in all
