What are some movie quotes that made you really think, or stayed with you and meant something to you?
Mine would have to be from the movie Rent, the line from the song Life Support.
"There's only us, there's only this. Forget regret, or life is yours to miss."

" I don't want to be a product of the environment, I want the environment to be a product of me."
The departed,
Of course this quote is about the criminal environment in the film, but if you take it out of the movie you could see it as 'don't follow the masses'

It's actually a tagline for a movie, but I still like it. It comes from V For Vendetta, and says;
"The people should not be afraid of their government. The government should be afraid of their people."

Don't put more into it than there was. I asked simply if anyone had a favorite quote that meant something to them. If you don't have an answer, don't post. Pretty simple. Posting something completely irrelevant does not help you earn more, it in fact helps you earn LESS since you get rated down for it.

I use a few movie quotes when I can place them in a conversation. I suppose that the one I use the most often is "English, mother*cker! Do you speak it?", from Pulp Fiction. But there are several other quote I use, sometimes even forgetting where I first heard them.

"Perfect love is rare indeed -
for to be a lover will require
that you continually have
the subtlety of the very wise,
the flexibility of the child,
the sensitivity of the artist,
the understanding of the philosopher,
the acceptance of the saint,
the tolerance of the scholar and
the fortitude of the certain."

LOL, don't worry about it, I've done it too.
I loved Vendetta, and I also liked that line. Have you heard the reprise for the Guy Faulkes poem?
Remember, remember the 11th of September,
The government treason and plot.
I know of no reason why government treason
Should ever be forgot.
I actually have an image with this poem that's really nice, I'll have to remember to upload it.
Thanks for the response :)

My favourite movie quote is also my favourite quote for anything.
It´s present on the movie " Gladiator": " What you do in life...echoes in eternity.."

The best quote I ever liked is from the movie The Matrix, Morpheus saying to Neo "Throughout human history, we have been dependent on machines to survive. Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony." ..
