Sony Ericsson k700i joystick problem

I bought a SE K700i this april. Its quite good. Nowadays i find that the joystick has become unresponsive. Any ideas?? I tried to clean it myself,but still it aint working.

If you have only had it a few months and bought it new, wouldn't it still be under warranty? Even if it's not I suggest that you contact the manufacturer and see if they can give you any advice. Good luck. :)
