part 2: what are you currently reading? - author + mini review

I read as often as I can. Usually in the bathroom hiding from my kids but it's still reading.
Favorite Book...too many. Love Wicked by Gregory MacGuire.
Favrite Author...J.R.R. Tolkein, Robert Jordan, David Eddings
Am currently reading book 6 in The Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan. I had read the first 8 books in the 90's but stopped reading for a number of years. I'm now re-reading the series and trying to play catch up.
I am slo hoping Robert Jordan stays alive long enough to finish the series. He's a brilliant author.
This is my very first post...woo hoo go me!

Well one of my favorite authors is Piers Anthony. He's written many series I've enjoyed including Xanth and the Incarnations of Immortality, both of which I often will re-read the books in the series. Now I will admit the first book in the Xanth series A Spell For Chameleon can be a bit slow but when you consider it was his first published book you can understand. Of course he planned on it being a single book, then a trilogy and at least count I think there is 26 books in the series.
I recently finished The Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. Both of which I really enjoyed. I am currently re-reading The Deed of Pakesennerion by Elizabeth Moon. It's one I keep in the car to pick up as needed.

I still do...i go through different stages of what I like to read, at the moment its FANTASY...a little while ago I finished 'The Sovereign Stone Trilogy' by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman
Part 1: Well of darkness - The servant of a prince becomes a pawn in his masters power play to gain the throne, and soon his ambitions to become a Magi lead him into the land of darkness.
Part 2: Guardians of the lost - After five centuries of peace, the world of Loerem is torn apart by warfare and the rediscovery of the magical Sovereign Stone, and only three unlikely heroes stand against Dagnarus the immortal Prince of the Void, and his forces of darkness.
Part 3: Journey into the void - Desperate and forced to plead for help from the other nations of the kingdom, King Helmos turns to face the powerful undead armies of his evil brother prince Dagnarus Dominion Lord of the Void, who seeks to overthrow his brothers rule and become Master of the entire land.

But in the end it all depends on what type of books you like to read

lol - ... havnt read the book - my the movie was horrible.
as a note time travel is used a lot - its a common plot that is way overused - and subject to debate
what kind of fiction are you interested in? - it heavily affects the sugguestions I would make
