How about a little writing exercise?

Just as an artist would paint a subject, writers can describe, skew and witness an event or object. I'll post a subject picture... then next week, someone else can post a new one. Now, using this picture, write about it, whatever comes to mind, however vague or plain. It can be poetic or prose. It can be detailed or simple. The idea is to just write. To keep things on track, title your posts with reference to the picture you're writing about. With that, I've attached this week's picture. A snake in the water. Have fun!
