Okay...here we are starting a brand new year and in a chronic effort to hold my cynical nature at bay- I am trying to laugh at this new dating scene that seems to have developed in 2007. I was in a Hallmark today and a guy came up to me and said: " Hi, I am embarassed to have to ask this but can you help me pick out a card for this really wonderful girl I just met?" of course I was immediately warmed by what I thought was a "nice guy" so I asked him what type of card he wanted to give her and he said " well I don't know her well but I just have to let her know how interested I am.." , we started looking and not to bore you with the particulars so I will insert "yada, yada yada" and presto! minutes later he reveals he is talking about me...
