do you prefer to buy branded clothes

i have been always facinated by cheap products which are very good in quality and does not carry a brand name contray to my friends belife my friends prefer branded cloths like nike,reebok,addidas,tommy hilfiger....
but i find these cloths have an enormous price tag attach to it and about ten times that of the unbranded product but not maching their quality in certain standards do you feel people should go with brand names

I find it really insane to buy a cloth for a brand..
i would better buy a cloth that suits me that fits me and that makes me comfortable
Rather than a name I would prefer comfort
I also think I wear the clothes not the brands wear me
I develop my own identity
and also feel only people withoout identity go after brands spendin money
