How many of the readers are aware that Glaucoma is a blinding disease & it is also called the silent thief of sight as it literally sneaks in without any symptoms, & BY THE TIME YOU KNOW YOU HAVE PRETTY ADVANCED GLAUCOMA.the common story is a patient walks in for a routine check up, is probably diabetic, hypertensive, middle aged & has realised that the vision is getting poorer. Only on a dtailed examination does one realise the cause is glaucoma which could have been averted if diagnosed & treated on time. Get a regular ocular examination done MORAL of the story.
