what makes some stupid people so stupid.why we call them stupid. what it actually means and from where the word has arrived??????????? what are other words we generally use let it be in any language

stupid is been derived frm stuporous.
or for those stung by romance they may call it stunned cupid.
moorakh...in hindi,
gaanda in gujju,
