i prefer ganguly as our indian team captain as he has got the capacty for moving a team and he proved it,dhoni i think is aggresive but tht mind is not sufficent for a captain he must think before his move.

Ganguly may retire at any time he is already 33, after WC there is every possibilty of him taking a decision on retirement, thats why I am talking about future Captain, I think Dhoni fits perfectly, while playing He takes Caluclated risks when he wants to attack the opposition thats what a good captain should have.

I think till the world cup atleast we should persist with Rahul Dravid as he's our most dependable batsman and has led not too badly as he led indian tema to victory in west indies in test series.
For future, i think there are many contenders for the top job in indian cricket. I think Dhoni has done very well in ODI's but has to improve his batting especially on bouncy wickets and has to improve his wicketkeeping. then I think Sreensanth our new find as bowler has lot of character, determination and aggression and would do well infuture. but he is inexperinced and will have to perform consistently well at highest level to stake claim. then Yuvraj who has had outstanding record last seaon helping india win many matches in ODI's he will have to work on his batting in tests esp. overseas. Samer is case of Kaif, pathan, sehwag there are in poor form and have to prove their worth but they are all very talented players and can lead tem well.

Dhoni may not last long enough in the team to suceed dravid. My money is on yuvraj, he is aggresive, teamsman and has played consoistently for th e past many years. so three cheers for Yuvi as the next captain.

may be he is too aggressive but he needs to prove his performance more with the bat......
its too early to say dhoni as future captain as he is getting stiff competition from dinesh karthik.....
if dhoni performs well in this two years consistantly he can be one option to lead team india after retirement of sachin,sourav and dravid!!!!!!!

this time i am just seeing ganguly as a captain because near future has a lot cricket and india need to perform well so be patienace and wacth out cricket till the world cup then we can or we have time to decide next generation captain.
