He was first dropped from the team saying that his current form isnt good. Also there was a drift between the coach and Ganguly further detoriating his chances....... Then there came the promising players... Dhoni,Raina etc who never looked like giving Dada his place again. With his form not even his greatest fan believed he had any chance of coming back into the Indian team. If there was any one who believed in him. It was Ganguly himself. Then there was this ICC debacle and SA one day disaster that wanted even his worst enemies to bring him back. But that was a ploy just to mock him with the tough conditions prevailing there.
