most of us here are hopeless romantics. i sure am one. there are times when i plan my own wedding in my head and i never forgot to think about what songs i would like to here while making my promise in front of God and my loved one. mty number 1 song would be 'all of my life' by mymp. it is just their cover version but they did it well.

I have always loved Endless Love, (cover by Mariah and Luther of course) but I don't think that's such a good one for church so, maybe that will be left for the cake cutting or something! I have been listening to "From This Moment" by Shania, and I think that's a good one for the vows. I am not familiar with the lyrics to All of My Life, so I don't know if it would be a good one or not. My friends and I sometimes sing at weddings and the songs we have sung are very unconventional and usually not contemporary: The Wedding Song (There is love...), Household of Faith (Steve Green et al.,)Cherish The Treasure (Steve Green et al.,) Anthem of Love (beautiful song about love), Love in any Language (Sandi Patti,) Come What May, Flesh of my flesh and We've Only Just Begun (usually for the end) and I think all of these are beautiful songs, and the bride and groom usually appreciate them.

Hopeless romantic...man that is a perfect description of me. I have planned all the songs for my wedding already. lol. Now all I need is the groom. So far I have "For Always" by Tyrese, "With this ring", still looking for who sings that one, "After All is said and done" by Beyonce and Mark something or another, "Spend My Life with you", by Eric Benet and Tamia

I like to play guitar on my own and sing to my dearly future wife. Ihave this song in my head from The beatles entitled "I Will". This song is one of the underrated songs of The Beatles. It is really romantic. Find it in youtube or download it. The song is from The White Album written and sung by Mcartney

Linger by The Cranberries
it's not typically a love song but it's about love that's for sure!
Also, Got You Where I Want You by The Flys while I'm walking down the aisle. *sigh* :)
A song by The Softies too entitled That's Love. There's a line there that goes..."you're past the line between I like and I love." Really quaint :)

"Just Like Heaven" by Katie Melua which is a cover version of The Cure's wonderful song. Also I like "At Last" by Etta James and would want that played at some point. And "When the Stars Go Blue" which has been done by Tim McGraw, and Bono feat The Corrs. Either version would do. And as cheesy as this sounds I would love to have "Ain't No Mountain High" the duet version with Marvin Gaye and Tammy whats-her-name to be played also.
