What is important Career or Personal life

I always think that in life career is the most important thing. But one cannot ignore the importance of having a private life other than professional life. But once a person starts earning the person stops living and thinks only about the next promotion the next raise... So what is more important. JOB or LIFe

I think that life is more important that career but we can do the two things toghether.
