Is there a new Grease movie coming out?

Its a sweet movie and i loved watching it thrice, a beautiful moving musiq.

I would say I would love to see another Grease, but the truth is there could never be another one. The sequels are never as good as the original. Perosnally I liked Grease 2 for the music and think that if they had put a different title on it, it would have done well. If it weren't for Grease 2 we wouldn't have the song "Cool Rider", my personal favorite.

I looked on internet movie database and seen nothing that said there was to be a new movie coming out. I think your m.i.l. probably did get confused. Although I did learn that High School Musical's working title was Grease 3. I haven't seen it but I've heard some good things about it.

Yeah I don't think that there is going to be another movie. There is just the new reality show, which will lead into a new Broadway production of the same story. I don't think they could come up with something new that would be an interesting story, and I agree that Grease 2 was pretty horrible!

sorry,the show you are watching is a casting call to find the new people who will play the title roles in a broadway play of Grease. at the final casting,the audiance will vote for the winners. I actually didn't mind Grease 2 but nothing can take the place of the original. I have both at home and watch them a couple times a month.

I don't think they are making a new Grease movie either, I think you are right that your mother-in-law got confused by the reality show for the casting of the Broadway production.
