Has this ever happened to anybody. I just got a new house about 4 months ago. I have had my lab for about 10 years he was always well trained till I moved in. I have tried everything and he continues to soil in the house. I have sprayed he is outside constantly. I even tried to give him more attention. He even goes outside but will then walk in and go again. I have left him out for long stretches of time. I even changed all the carpet in the house thinking he was just marking his territory and that didn't work. I don't want to get rid of him but and trying to have a baby and can't put up with it anymore. I am at my wits end. I love my dog to death but he is driving me crazy.

If I were you, I'd take him to the vet and get him completely checked out for worms and/or bladder infections. And ask the vet about the situation. At ten, he may be having problems knowing when he has to go. Ten is pretty old for a lab. Is someone home with him or is he alone a lot? If he's outside in the yard alone a lot, he'll be very unhappy. Dogs are social creatures and labs are really family dogs.

He is alone during the day but at night I am home with him. He is due for a physical next month. I guess I will try and move it up. He has always been a good dog.

If it's not a physical problem, check to see if the owners before you owned dogs. If they did, and the dogs went in the house, it's possible that he could be sensing he is in another dog's territory. It could also just be nerves or adjusting. Definitely talk to your vet.
