students use cell phones to record?

What if there is an emergency and you have your cell phone beside you,are you not supposed to use it?That bugs me because at my school the teachers will take away your cell phone if they even so much as see it.I think the teacher ware worried that their reputation will be ruined and once they are caught they can not do what they have been doing anymore.

well people are not only using phones for communication...they are using it for other purposes too.......well...it should be with us and teachers should allow coz it might help the student...in case of any emergency.......but nyway...i can't imagine my life without mobile phones

people in nowadays are not using cellphones for right purpose instead for recording and other process..

Put yourself in your teacher's shoes. How can you handle a classrom with 20 pupils or more, when you have an interruption every five minutes with different ring tones? It would drive me mad. Either you are paying your attention during the lesson or else you are paying attention to your cell phone.

i think .. u dun need cell phone at school beside callin up ur frnds .. cuz for how long ya go to school .. like 4 -5 ..
just keep pur phone on vibrate .. n if there is really emrgency .. they txt msg u..

I think it is an educational problem. So, better not use phone during lesson.. ^^"
