Maltese Puppies

I really want a maltese puppy, but a small one.. or perhaps the medium sized ones. I'm really in love with the tiny ones though, they melt my heart. Does anyone know anything about their demeanors? Health wise? Information on breeders?? Anything would help!

Maltese dogs are expensive, prone to dozens of health problems and require constant upkeep. They need special food for their size, they need daily grooming, they're very fragile and shouldn't be left unsupervised for very long, they can be very territorial and aggressive with other animals, and they do not get on well with children. *worked with dogs for years*
