Why is that people are not at all respoding to my messages. Why is it?

I'm finding that I respond to quite a few people from India here. Even if your topics tend to be of mostly local interest, the Indian population on myLot seems to be substantial enough that you should get some responses. Try to post on topics which would seem to be of interest to a large audience; books, music, movies (bollywood??), pets, housing and economics all seem to be good starting places. I am posting fairly narrow topics, like restoring my 1963 Cadillac, and find that I get at least SOME responses.

Don't feel bad dude. At least now your getting response from other mylot users including me hehe. It's not that whenever we start a discussion every user will be interested in the topic. I started some discussions but got no response or a very few response but still I don't feel bad. Just keep on posting and hope that other users will respond. good Luck!

Don't feel alone here. I too started a discussion trying to get assistance with an interview I need to do and have gotten no response to it. I asked a simple question and asked for a simple question in return yet that discussion was started 4 days ago and not a single response. I think only those with many many post actually get their discussions responded to.

Lemme try to give you some tips to create a health topic. BTW, It has nothing to do with whether you are an Indian or not. First thing yon need to do is to search whether someone has created a same topic which you have created. Many in this community get pissed off when they see a reported topic and they are not intersted in it. Also the heading you give for the topic must be attractive coz many used to reply by seeing the heading. Try to aviod creating "Whats ur favourite hero or someother stuffs like this requires one line answer. Many wont be intersted to respond to such a topic. I am not pointing that u created such a topic. I am just give my opinion. Also try to avoid topics with Racisim. I guess this will help you out...

it is not because of your antionality or any other reason.may be it not be that much attractive.i wont get more than 20 responses.most of my discussions have 0 response.i think the time plays a important role here.if you post it when there are more number of people and it continues to be in the first page then chances are more for lot of responses.

There Im responding to your message. Is that good? Maybe they are not interested in your discussion. It happens dont be so paronoid that your from India and thats the reason. The people here are not like that. Or maybe you knew this question would get a spark for you. So dont accuse us of something we are not guilty of. That is no way to make friends.

hey make more friends , make the notify on in your friends, and respond more responses, that will get you more responses, nothing like if you are indian you will get more response. here more number of indians than any other people, ok dont be upset creat more friends create more discussion. responmd more rate all responses.

Sometimes its that way. A message has to hit someone the right way at the right time. A lot of my own have been passed over. Don't take it personally.

I think it happens to everyone. You really shouldn't take it personally. Maybe you could just repost your message and word it a little differently. Make sure you use tags. Tags help people find your discussion.

Hi there, I wouldn't get to upset. I am new to the mylot community, and I'm sure if I posted topic i wouldn't get very many responses. If I did, It would probably be because the topic interests many people. Try posting other types of discussions. I don't believe it's because your from India. Hope this cheers you up.
