I made a resolution to start eating better. I'm doing pretty good. I just do it by the portions and try to eat lots of veggies and fruit. And I try to drink water during the day and then tea or soda at night. So I'm doing good so far. Let's just hope I can keep it up. I love veggies and fruit anyway so that's a good thing.

Good on you, and keep it up! The benefits will be noticeable after a while. Don't get downcast if you slip up though - the odd treat won't hurt, just go straight back to your healthy ways afterwards. Good luck, and hope you have a good 2007!

lol...then perhaps your resolution should be to have fun. I don't think a resolution has to be restricting at all.

I never make new year's resolutions. If I decide to make a resolution, I just do that regardless of the date. There are so many "New Year"s in different cultures and religions anyway, that the idea of a New Year is really quite random.

So far so good. But I didn't set difficult goals. 1) I resolved to try to write every day somewhere - either here at myLot or one of the other sites I write at. 2) To research and find a diet I MIGHT be able to stick with and try it for at least 30 days. I did my research and decided on a diet on the 15th. Now I am trying it. If it works great, if not, I have still met my resolutions requirements.

My main resolution was to get in better shape. Can't really say I've failed yet, because I'm barely getting started. BF and I started doing Pilates together a couple of weeks ago, but I moved up to aerobics today.
Let's see...
Working on my writing, painting...so far resolutions are coming along, but it's long-term stuff so we'll see.

Alot of us fail our resolution, I think there was a study saying that over 90% will not reach their goals for the year. As for me I am still going strong with my college, which I hope will lead to my degree this year
