I heard its in India or something like that, but i need deeper info from people who live over there, rather than looking up what it means.

Bollywood is nothing but Hollywood for Indian Movie Industry, especially for Hindi movies. There are some other Woods for regional language movie industries like, For Kannada(Karnataka) there is a Sandlewood(since sandle is famous in this state), For Telugu movie industry there a Tollywood..like that.
In bollywood Hritik, Amithab, Shahruk, Aamir, Ajay, Nana, Aishwarya, rani.etc.etc..

Bollywood is the nickname given to Indian film industry.Its a play on the word hollywood.The word b comes from Bombay a big city in india.it is a massive industry which makes around 800 films a year.twice more than hollywood.
As i do am a bollywood film fan wat i have to say is that it too has good and bad films.It has great difference from hollywood.bollywood fims are more colorful and has songs in the movie and the language used is hindi.the famous actors in bollywood are Amitabh bachan ,sharukh khan ,Aiswarya rai.this are few big names.
technologically boolywood is far behind than hollywood.and many of bollywood actors have been acted in hollywood films.
