Thinking of how Christina reacted to this whole Burke thing, how do you think you would have reacted? What choices would you have made?
It seems to me that since she walked away from him when he got shot, she spent all this time trying to make up for it, trying to be there for him no matter what. But what would you do in that situation?
Would you be a true doctor, put your patients' best interest first, act ethically, and convince your boyfriend that he cannot operate? Or would you stand by your man 100% and help him cover up his secret?
Forget the fact that they could've both ruined their careers, they could've killed a lot of people. And lets get real, no punishment??? Only on TV would that happen.

I think she was way too high strung throughout the whole thing. There were several times that you could see he was going to say something, and she cut him off and started devising some sort of plan. She completely controlled him and told him what to do, which was unfair to him. I do think they both screwed up by not saying anything, and it was unfair to the patients that they were operating on! I know I'd be mad it I went under his knife! I would find another way to stand by my man, without having to cover up his secrets.

I don't think Christina should have helped Burke. Her responsibility to her patients should have overriden her guilt. She could have just agreed to support Burke whether he could operate or not. I thought working with him to get his hand stronger was good, but not covering for him.
I don't believe I would have done the same things she did. I would act ethically.

I was so proud of her when she bought the chickens and cut them up and told him to put them back together. That was really smart.
I think when she found out that he had the tremor, she felt powerful and helpful. "Wow! This world famous surgeon can't operate without me!" She should not have covered for him though. That is so against the Hippocratic Oath. Would she let him operate drunk or strung out? Of course not! The tremor is the same sort of impairment in my mind.
I don't remember the chief's reason for not punishing them. They probably only didn't get punished because there were no patients harmed.
