Boise State -- National Champions!

I am here this evening to declare that Boise State is the third team to have won the national Be Our Best (B.O.B.) college football champioship 2006.
Boise State was one of four teams that were invited to play January 1, with the winners returning on January 8 to play for the national B.O.B. championship. The proposed matchups were to be Florida vs Ohio State and Michigan vs Boise State. However, since all four schools decined the invitation, the national champion was declared by a private vote of the BOB panelists, which consists of college football enthusiasts.
When asked about the contriversial choice, B.O.B. founder and panelist Bob Aagard had this to say: "When it comes right down to it, Boise State had the best record. Unlike the other polls, we take into consideration the teams' records, and we don't discriminate based on region or conference. Boise was a unanimous winner."
In 2004, USC narrowly defeated the University of Utah for the title. The University of Texas won the trophy in 2005.

What are you talking about? What is the BOB? Do you mean BCS?
The January 8th game was set way before January 1st games were played.
There is no playoff in NCAA D1 football.
Boise State may be undefeated, but they are from the WAC! They couldnt beat any of the other top 4 teams.
The Real national champions are the Florida Gators who beat the Ohio State Buckeyes 41-14 last night.
USC did not play Utah for a national title, ever. Utah has only been to 1 BCS bowl, and it was no way teh championship.

I mean, if you really think Boise State could possibly beat Florida, or that Florida wouldn't have destroyed every team Boise State played this year, then you are confused.
What about Boise State almost losing to San Diego State was it? Or San Jose State? WTF?
BTW, i get it now, you are BOB and you claim Boise State are champs. Obviously if you think Utah played USC 2 years ago, it shows how you could pick Boise State over Florida. hahhaaah

i don't know what your talking about if you are being sarcastic or what but i think the bcs is really sticking it to teams like boise state. i can't wait for the bcs to redo itself and let some worthy teams in GO BRONCOS
