here are some good mobile codes for you which helps you in knowing your mobile betterly -:
1. I heard the code *#7780# works too, pretty much the same i tink
2.Type *#06# to display your IMEI serial number, very valuable for the unlocking your phone to other sim cards

but i would like to ask u one thing, r these codes applicable to all kinds of cell or handsets or just for a particular set of cell phones

these are basically for nokia handset and can be work on other handset too but not sure.. u can also try *#0000# to check ur EMI number
