I have a myspace and I love it!! I know some people just go on and add, add, add. I am very selective of my 'friends'. I don't add people unless I've talked to them for a while or they're refered by my other friends. I have met a lot of new people... some have become some of my best friends!! I've also reconnected with some friends from high school that I haven't seen since. I love posting all my new pics for everyone to see and to share with my friends and family. I have found it very rewarding.

Yes, it is. I have one, but only because my sister made it for me. I did personalize it and all. But the only people I have on my friends list are my family, hubby's coworkers, and people my sister knows. lol I don't have a ton of friends. But I think it's WAY overrated.

I feel that myspace is indeed overrated. I have had a page there for a few years, and I don't use it for much except the occasional message to a friend. It's entirely too congested for my taste, with people adding friends almost randomly just to have a larger number listed on their page. The site is over-hyped as a great way to keep in touch with people, but I've found that normal email works just as well, and without the requirement that you build a page that looks fantastic enough for your audience. Myspace may really only have appeal for those younger than 16, who seem to make up the majority of its users.
