Has God finally seenenough of America's insolence and bad behavior in this country that has been so blessed? Are we feeling the wrath of God for allowing a secular society to become the dominent influence in our world? We kill babies in the mothers womb and call it "choice." We profane the name of God and his son, Jesus Christ, adn gamble away tithing money we should be giving to Churches. Did the government we elected pile on self-indulgences for themselves without compensating the country that put them into office?Have we angered the heavens with our gtreed and corruption? Are the Storms that are not battering this country dislocating people and causing misery a sign of his anger?

I think that God is terribly sad about what the world has come to. I know I am. I worry everyday for my children, but pray every morning before I drop them off at school and the babysitters on my way to school. There are so many things that are happening in the world today that if I were a lesser person I would move to the middle of nowhere and keep my children at home with me all the time, but we have to let them learn to live too. All we can do is give them the best guideance we can and God's strength and pray for them. We also need to pray for our nation as a whole that our President and those who have been voted into office will figure out what is important and put God back where he belongs; in our schools, court rooms and political offices.

this is true. However I do homeschool my son. He is very active in the community with voluntering, Boyscouts, and civil air patrol. SO I believe I am off to a good start. He loves flying air planes with the military. the civil air patrol is the United States Air Force Auxillary.

That is awesome. I don't have the patience for homeschooling. I tried it with my oldest daughter and it just didn't work so I won't be doing that again. I'm glad that it is working so well for you though. Both of my aunts homescooled their children till about the 5th grade then put them into public schools and they all turned out well rounded and smart as could be. God Bless and keep up the great work!

Materialistic, immoral, corrupt? Yes. Secular? I'm not so sure. If you consider the prevalent social viewpoints most fall in line with main Biblical teachings. Sure our laws don't always reflect that but it must be remembered that our government is not allowed to openly and obviously be in support of any religion. Those in office must walk a fine line between making the masses happy and instituting morally sound laws.
Have we angered the heavens? I think we are currently a disappointment but that is a far cry from anger. While those storms you mean were terrible, tragic events, I don't think they represent even a tenth of the wrath that we would face should God actually become angry with us.

Makes you wonder doesn't it. All we can do is try to keep going and do hat we believe is best. Things are just getting worse and worse. I just wonder what it holds for our children.

All of this is something to think about huh although I do think it is too much for a sunday school teacher to be delivering to 7 year olds. This what my sons teacher was teaching him in sunday school and I was puzzled. So I though I would see some of other peoples thoughts on this matter. Thank you for yours.
