My best season for gardening is dry. What is yours?

My name is Kesa Tomiak.I am from Papua New Guinea and we have a tropical climate. That is wet and dry all year round.Our people use traditional calendar to tell when it is going to be wet season and dry season.But, dry season is the time they clear bushes and plant food crops. Wet season is the time food crops sprout and grow.
Can you share your way of making garden and in what season of the year is best for you to make gardens?
