How can my friend's wife stop incontinence?

My friend who is an engineer has a beautiful wife. Their marriage is getting stronger every year but there's only one problem my friend is facing right now. His wife has incontinence. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, she'd pee on the expensive beautiful couple bed my friend had purchased from a Department Store. I've told him to make alarms every 2 hours for his wife to wake up and take a pee so she'll stop her incontinence. My 2nd advice is not to take too much juices or beverages 2 hours before sleep. My another advice is to lessen stress. What can you suggest?

Your friend needs to convince his wife to see a doctor! Most incontinence can be treated with medication or surgery. She really needs to be evaluated to find the cause and be treated. She does not need to be embarassed as this is more comany a problem than she realizes.
Having her get up every 2 hours during the night is not only impractical, it is cruel! It will interfere with her REM sleep which can lead to even more serious issues. Chances are, she is already limiting her nighttime beverages. That is something most people with incontinence do on their own. Medical intervention is the only way to go.

thanks but will i tell my friend to have his wife diagnosed? will it not sound as interferring marital problems?

i agree that she needs to see a doctor. There are medications and even exercises that can help her control it, if the problem goes untreated, it can make it so that she has to pee uncontrollably every time she stands up. I take enablex, and it helps me wonderfully. They do not have to suffer like that.
