The shows producers will never change House. If they did the show would loose its charm. It did not surprise me one bit that he wasn't really rehabing. Ofcourse, if you remember previous episodes where he was not on the Vicodin, he acted completely different than he did this episode.

I wasn't surprised either, but didn't know how he would get out of the situation, as he couldn't be in jail or prison a long time. This is the reason I keep watching, as want to be surprised in a small way. I enjoyed the case of the fireman tonight and don't think I would want to forget everyone around me.

I don't think House is capable of changing. I was surprised when he checked into rehab and actually seemed to be doing what he was supposed to do. I was surprised again when he was in the jail and it seemed that the guy he called Voldemort was giving him vicodin instead of the buponephrine. I was glad that he took the contempt charge to go save the young man's life.
I was mostly surprised that Cuddy would commit perjury for him.
The only letdown I felt was when it turned out that the young man didn't have to forget his brother and partner. That made me very sad.

I don't think House will change. If he does it will be the end of the show. I will say that I wasn't really all that surprised with tonight's episode. The phone call in the court room? Predictable! Cutty lying to save House's rear? Predictable! She can't afford to lose him so why wouldn't she lie?
I thought it was a good episode. I think the story lines (medically speaking) are what keeps it interesting.

Hose will never change. He will be popping vicaden (or however it is spelt) for the rest of his life. I was surprised by by Cuttie lying and that he actually was on the vicaden.I actually prefer him on it though. Ithink he works alot better while on it.
P.S. I could never be let down by House. He is the best out there.

I think it fit the show very well. It was not predictable really at all, cause no one saw House checking himself into rehab, and no one saw the case being dismissed. I thought it was nice to see House break out some nice points (even if he was just trying to get things to go his way) and in the end I was definitely surprised when I found out he was just faking everything and had been getting his pills the entire time. I laughed inside a lot to myself when the show ended tonight. It was just what I would expect from the show, and really, as bad as it sounds, the whole reason I and most others love the show. We love it when the bad does come out on top!

I was surprised they didn't continue the court case for a few more episodes. I really expected the cop or someone close to him would get sick. Then House would be the one to cure them.

I, too, thought it would come down to House curing someone. I thought maybe the judge would decide that House was more valuable to society as a doctor than in prison and drop the charges.

I was thinking of the same thing, I thought someone close to Tritter would be sick and the only person that could help him was House. Imagine that a person as prideful as Tritter tries to ask House's help, who himself is egocentric.

If he ever changes it will probably mark the last season of the show. Basic formula for a lot of shows: keep coming close to doing something but drag out actually doing it for as long as you can. Just like Niles and Daphne on "Frasier" and Ed and whats her face on "Ed". At least there's all of the medical cases, so the story lines in the show don't advance very much per episode. I hope the show keeps coming up with something to keep it fresh. I was pulled in by the whole investigation, but now it's pretty much right back to square one. I love the show, but it needs something to happen this season.

House will never change. If he did that would be the end of the series. I thought tonights episode was ok. Next episode looks to be really good. Even though we have to wait 3 weeks to see it.

The biggest question is, "Do we really want him to change?" Isn't that why we watch? We love seeing his arrogance. It makes him able to do what he does.

It was a nice episode, House will be House. Actually I was waiting for this episode, the time he (with the help of Cuddy) outwits Tritter. It was like in Season where Chi McBride was the special guest and tries to fire House. What bothered me in this episode was they let someone erase his memory, I wish they thought of other ways in curing the fireman. Anyway, the episode was still great and I don't have to worry about Tritter in the next coming episodes, =)

At the end of the episode I was laughing so hard I literally couldn't stop. It was over 2 minutes 'cause my wife was telling me to shut up when her show came on at 10:00pm. Very very good writing and incredible acting as usual from Hugh Laurie.
