Why do we need to mark out the BEST RESPONSE?

If two or many responses you think is best, how and why do we need to mark out the best response? What purpose does marking a response, the best response? Will it increase my earnings? What does it do? Wouldnt it be unfair to others if he doesnt give a best response mark? Please site some of your ideas here.

according to old members, marking one's user as best response will encourage the community or user to go on. some say that marking someone as best response will add a little to your earnings. but in my view, i do not know either..

Actually, it gives someone else a chance to earn too, and this might make them consider you for a best response!

So your saying that if you mark out your best response from all the responses you get, your best response will gain earnings and not you? Wish there is some way mylot would tell us the details regarding this.

It will not increase your earning at all, but i think it just for show appreciation for some one that post to our topic.
