do you think its right to stay in a marriage where there are children if your not in love with your spouse do think its right to stay for the children and how do think they would react if they knew you were only staying for the sake. Now and days husbands and wifes i believe are with each other just so that it will keep there kids close to them and so they can have stabillity instead of confusion all the time

It all depends on the couple. Do they need the other parent there to take care of the children. Is one parent more fincially better than the other. There are so many questions and things to consider. What is right for one person may not be whats right for the next. Good luck to your friend hope they figure out what works best :)

I do not believe that anyone should stay in a marriage that the love has ended in. It can hurt the children in the long run. You are right though many people now are staying just to have their families near them but it is not healthy. When the children are older they will ask why you stayed and when you tell them you did it for them, then what, they live with that guilt for the rest of their lives. No way if the love is gone don't stay.
