Age old topic in this generation

Before the marriage rites, the couple meet and see each other. That begins their acquaintance. They are aware that they are going to marry. They would know from themselves if they could learn to like and love each other. If they think they don't like each other, sometimes the marriage is not pushed through as one of them will do something to stop it; if it is still continued, they may learn to like and love each other as husband and wife already. But if still they dislike each other despite the fact that they are already married, perhaps that's hell on earth. Nowadays, betrothal is seldom practised in the Philippines; I don't know if in other countries, they are still serious in practising this.
